Special ST&D 2016 Conference Themed Issue

Discourse Processes publishes an annual special issue focused on presentations (both talks and posters) from the previous year’s Society for Text & Discourse conference.  We are excited to announce that Volume 53, Issues 5-6, showcasing work presented at the 2015 conference, is out now!  Take a look: http://www.tandfonline.com/toc/hdsp20/current

We will be continuing this tradition with a special issue representing work from the Society for Text & Discourse meeting in Kassel, Germany held this July 2016.  Papers submitted for consideration to this special issue will go through regular review, with the goal of accelerating that process given the intended publication timeline.  This is an excellent opportunity to publish your cutting-edge research in a timely fashion.  (We anticipate the issue will be published immediately prior to the 2017 conference.)

Submissions should be prepared as per the guidelines found here:

All manuscripts should be submitted through the Discourse Processes submission portal as per those guidelines.  In any such submission, indicate in your cover letter that the manuscript is being offered for consideration in the “ST&D 2016 Special issue.”  The firm deadline for submissions is September 26, 2016.

Please consider submitting your exciting work to Discourse Processes.  Remember: Discourse Processes is the official journal of the Society for Text & Discourse.  If you have any questions about the suitability of a conference presentation for the issue, please e-mail the special issue editors Tobias Richter (tobias.richter@uni-kassel.de) or Maj-Britt Isberner (maj-britt.isberner@uni-kassel.de).
